Roll Bar Vendors

While I have my BE gutted (getting ready for paint) I'm thinking of putting i a roll bar.

Looking for one that won't intefere with the convertible top.

Anyone know of vendors, or a used one for sale?

If you have no luck anywhere else, call this guy (Pete @ 973-383-8859 ).

He is my Sprite racing pal and he does only Brit car work. He's built dozens of roll bars and cages.

Very reasonable, a good guy and in NJ (Sussex County).

Bruce..I've a brand new one I bought for the Sprite...black with the padded post cover and allows standard top to be used.. never even touched it other than to pull it out of plastic......may not be the type you're looking for but I'll take a pic and post it tommorrow....biggest issue might be cost of shipping since it may need to be trucked..

Bruce..I attached a couple of pics...Now that I pulled it out of corner of garage it's apparent that I didn't even take all the plastic wrap from when I originally bought it off. I paid $449, plus $89 for the snap on padded wrap and $100 for shipping. I'd let it go for $325 plus shipping ...take care!

Bibber, appreciate the offer and the pictures. After doing some research, there's a different rollbar unit made for AH sprites for years 59 - 61 than there are for later cars.

If you lived closer, I'd definitely try it, but not when there's shipping involved.

Thanks anyway. Does anybody else need a rollbar?

From the pics I can't work out how it would fit and where it would attach to the Bugeye...

I might be interested, if shipping price wasn't too exorbitant

$25-$30 or so shipped via UPS. Got one for Bugsy from CA to OH in 2-3 days time.Just stick a shipping label on it. Don't even need a box. A little but of semi gloss back and you're ready to go.
