Roll Bar Pad and Cover??

Who is using the Moss or VB roll bar cover? Are they quality, anybody have a picture? Are there any others available? I know there is plenty of generic roll bar padding out there, but the Moss and VB seem to be made for the Triumph and come with the cover.

Allan:

I am having a roll bar fabricated at a boat tuna tower fabricator. The roll bar is to my design and will
incorporate a plexiglas windscreen.

Any boat custom metal shops near you?

Just asking about a Pad and Cover for the roll bar---what are the recomendation, does anybody have a picture?

The Moss type pads are decorative and offer little protection for your noggin.

Roll bar padding (for safety) is usually made of high density foam (similar to pipe insulation but different) and has an offet eccentric hole that fits around the bar; the thick part of the offet faces your brain so there is more cushioning if you head snaps back into the bar. You can cut the foam at angles to custom fit the rollbar and still look very custom.

The Moss covers look real nice but when you're a vegetable from a brain injury, it probably doesn't matter to you anymore.

It all depends on what you want.

I think they are about 50 bucks from the vendors. I have one that I added tons of extra black snaps to to keep it on. Perfect condition. Want it? Send me an address on pm. Oh, and it's free.
