I have Roku units on multiple TV's at our home and our vacation home. I was wondering if anyone has found a way to use a VPN with a Roku in a simple manner. I like watching UKPlay TV on my computer, but would like to be able to that on one of the TV's without needing screen sharing with another device.

Not exactly the same. I have my TV hardwired to my router. If my fiber optic is out, I can cast from my phone to the TV with WIFI. Everything including the connection is done on the phone. When I disconnect, the TV goes back to it's previous state automatically.

I just discovered on the Roku Community page that a Roku will not work with a VPN. And any questions regarding that get removed from the community before anyone posts a work around.

That makes it sound like it can be done, but they have a vested interest in preventing people from doing so. That seems like it would just motivate people even more to figure it out.
