I need help identifying what engine the following rod and piston will fit. The rod is a MOWOG AEC790S. The piiton has AEC 800 R1 Front on the crown. Will this rod and piston fit a 63 BJ7?

Thanks,

Ray Smith

The BJ7/8 Parts Manual list an 8G2339 as the standard connecting rod.

Pistons are only listed as "sets" with rings, wrist pins and circlips. The standard number is 12B115903 or 12B115906 for 29K series engines.

Additionaly, the Part Number Index lists many "AEC" parts, but not the two you have asked about.
