Just for fun...When I posted up about the twin cam illustrations, Ralph sent me some photos of both his roadster and his coupe. I finally found some time to pen the roadster. What a blast.

Nice job! An MGA roadster was my first car and I still think it's one of the best looking cars ever built.

An just imagine.....the MG company designed it without a computer or a website! :friendly_wink:

I'm In Thompson, Connecticut today for their vintage race festival. Several nice MGAs here at the track.

It's true, these days I draw with the aid of a computer (actually a tablet and a stylus) instead of a pen and paper but, I assure you, no electrons were injured in illustrating Ralph's TC and all activity was overseen and approved by an official computer supervisor (in this case my Portuguese Water Dog, "Cooper"). :wink-new:

Some adjustments have been made. Fire suppression bottle added, Supertrapp silencer re-shaped and logo added, oil cooler oriented to horizontal and re-plumbed, holes added to knock-offs for safety wire, Dunlop decals removed, and bonnet lifted at rear for improved air flow. And, in the spirit of a shameless plug, if you have an MGA (or MGB, TF, TD, or other vintage British race car) and want an illustration, let me know. The up charge over standard illustrations is more reasonable than you might think. Now...on to the coupe.

And the coupe. Right hand drive, full roll cage, Webers, etc.
