G'day,
I am looking for opinions from people who have bought Robbins soft tops. I am going to buy one during the current Moss sale, though am unsure whether to go for the crush grain, british everflex, or canvas top.
I am not overly concerned with originality, as my car currently doesn't warrant going overboard with that and won't for a few years yet, so I have pretty much ruled out the everflex due to the shorter warranty.
So, the question that remains, is the canvas top worth the extra money spent? My car, although fun to drive, has a few dents and ripples, and paint that is showing its age, I'd call it a 10ft car. I am leaning towards the crush grain top, as investing in the canvas one may be something like putting lipstick on a pig (meant in the nicest possible way).
Does anyone own one of these tops or know someone who does, care to venture an opinion?
Thanks in advance.
