When I hear those songs I'm tossed into the Wayback Machine and start to recall all sorts of things. Fun!

Goffin was "right place, right time" indeed. And the "team" with Carole King is still amazing. Prolific doesn't even come close to describing their works.
 
As you know doc there are many, many more Goffin/king hits.
You're right; takes us all back to our youth.
