Less famous to the world but I bet most of us have at least one of his books on our shelf. Certainly contributed a LOT to the hobby.

I'm 78 and feel I'm past my use by date.
 
Get a picture of Keith Richards & put it on your mirror -
you'll feel 20 years younger.
 
Every time I take my trash can out to the street for pickup I wonder if I should just climb in with the rest of the old useless stuff....maybe I should try the Keith Richards picture too.
 
If I were a car I'd have a bumper sticker that reads -
"THIS IS NOT AN ABANDONED VEHICLE"
 
Sad to hear. He educated me on many British cars. I have so many of his books on my shelf.
