Riley Opinion

Marv -

You have a PM.

Hello Marv,

quite an old fashioned design by fifties standards, almost vintage in character (U.K. vintage that is, 1913 to 1931). Wood framing on the body etc, but an interesting car. Not very lively with the 1.5 litre engine (there was also a 2.5 litre version)

A friend of mine is selling a concourse Riley Drophead Coupe. It's similar in style to that one and recently placed second in the Los Angeles Concourse D'Elegance. I've driven the car and it's fabulous! I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the money. PM me if interested.

They are great cars I think they under valued at this time.I have a 1950's 2.5l Drophead coupe that they only made about 500 of. I have had it some 30 years and it's about fourth on the project list.

Good luck

Mark
