Does anyone know anything about these cars. What their rarity or worth is? I may have come across a 4 door RHD. Can they be converted into a left hand drive?
Supposedly the car has been in a warehouse for 20 plus years, has not run in awhile & has some rot in the floors.
Are there replacement parts available for the body? I know it has an MG engine in it.

I haven't seen one of them for years! BMC made the Riley from 1957 to 1965 as an alternative to the Moris Minor. I have never seen one in left hand drive, as I am not sure that many were exported by BMC. I am sure that parts are scarce, as there were only about 40,000 of them built.

The One Point Five stands for 1.5 liter engine that they put in this little box, and makes for a neat little package with some GO in it. But the only one I have ever driven was 10 years old and very finicky to keep running. Unfortunetly, it was tucked away in a barn that collapsed in a snowstorm and mysteriously disappeared with the debris /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Seems to me you have found a diamond in the rough, but with very little drivability...good luck!

Does anyone know if the differential gear can be put into a TD for better driveability?
