So just discovered about a fabulous classic car driving tour that passed through my neck of the woods, at one point it passed within one hour of my place...

Anyone ever heard of the Spirit of Millard Newman driving tour? https://greatcarevents.blogspot.com/

Crossing my fingers that I get a chance to still see the tour in action... Being rather starved of interesting cars here...

Almost literally under my nose (my house is very close to the road).

The Model T club National was closeby a few years ago. A friend was in charge of planning a tour.

"Bring them by my house", says I.

"O.K." says he!

But they came in small groups spaced throughout the day. By the time I got my camera ready, they were gone until the next group came by. So it was hard to get good photos.

That Model-T run was in the Ithaca area for a couple of days. I kept seeing them chugging up the hill past the shop I was working at at the time. It was really neat.

not current home but former - friend in the Rolls Royce club arranged for the 100th anniversary tour to drive past the house - sat with champagne and watched. (BTW the drivers of this car are the parents of Chris Hadfield - Canadian Astronaut)
