ride difference oem vs poly bushings

looking to get some feedback on ride difference on poly bushings vs replacing with oe parts just wondering performance enhancement vs how the ride suffers and if it is worth going to poly... i had a camero in the 90s and as soon as i put poly in the ride sucked on the street...

i was planning on track days and time attack only...maybe autocrossing

I installed Prothane bushings in my 6 and there is a big difference (for the better!) as far as I am concerned.
I found the stock rubber bushings too "mushy".
Obviously, there will be varying opinions but I like the difference.

I believe the resulting ride quality will depend greatly on the tires you have. Basically if the tires don't transmit the high frequency vibration and noise from the pavement to the car, then it doesn't matter how much damping is in the suspension bushings.

At any rate, I use very hard bushings (harder than poly) in the front of my daily driver TR3, plus poly in the rear and I saw relatively little difference in ride between that and the former tired stock bushings.

OTOH, the stock lower bushings on a TR3 are harder than poly anyway (nylon inner, brass outer), so maybe it's not a valid comparison.
