My very first car was a brand new 1968 MGB. I had saved for it the three years I was in the navy. Now that I am retired and have raised a family I want to drive and show a nice "B". I just bought one on Ebay and am waiting for it to be shipped to me here is Pennsylvania. I hope to meet other enthusiests and share in the knowledge and fun of the car. I would like to drive in road ralyees. I plan on joining a local MG club or British motors club here near Philadelphia. My idea is to change the car over from a rubber bumper car to a chrome bumper car. I will go to the forum to learn what I am up against.

Welcome and good luck with your MGB! (I have a '69 MGB street car). If you're looking for something to do related to sports cars, you may want to come to New Jersey Motorsports Park at Millville, NJ on September 20 - 22 to see the New Jersey Historic Races. Great event and I believe they will have a car show there too (they did last year). Info on the event can be found here ---> https://www.njmp.com/2013-major-spectator-event-tickets.html

Hi there Rickoshay,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best LBC site anywhere.

Best wishes with your MGB. If you already have not; Introduce yourself & your "B" to the MG Forum & fire away with the conversion.

There are a couple of Brit Car Clubs in your area. I used to belong to the Lehigh Valley Club when I lived in Effort, PA. There is also a "Central PA" club but I`m not sure of the name.

Enjoy the Ride.
