Got to meet the pair of them today.
Rick has an....interesting bonnet on his spridget....

Bill has an interesting paint job....he told me what to look for to find him.

Also, got my hands dirty....guy in a white MGTD came SQUEALING down the drive, made the turn, and did not have enough horsepower to get up the hill.

Just had the brakes done,,,,,and M/Cyl is either defective or simply mis-adjusted.

I borrowed his big crescent, and a rag, popped the bleeder on the LF, "whoosh!" went the pressure, and off he went to park...with strict instructions on how to do it again to get home and that he needed to have his mechanic FIX IT.

I was not in a position to do the adjustment myself.

Fun.

It was great to meet you! Glad that you came, now enjoy the 600 visitors tomorrow and good luck!
Bill

Okay!

BTW, the bonnet "emblem"....looks like a 1958 Thunderbird.

eh heh - I was thinking T-Bird myself!!!

Thanks, and great meeting you today!

This was the biggest turnout of Spridgets in Bellevue that I have seen in 5 years of so that I've been attending. There were about 8 BEs and 6 SBs in the Healey zone and 4 or 5 Midgets in the MG area. When I started there were 3 BEs and my SWA. Too cool. One of the best shows overall that i've attended, at least in the Seattle area. I can hardly wait to see how many we get in Portland for Labor Day weekend. Always a bigger show, but the venue is not nearly so nice.

I was not able to stay as long as I wanted, but it was great to meet a number of you from the forum there. I have not been able to go to the Bellevue meet for a number of years, and I would have to agree that this year was the most Bugeyes I have ever seen. With any luck, maybe I will have my Bugeye running and registered for the Portland show. Anyone know when the deadline is to register for the Portland meet?
Kevin

A couple of years ago they had about as many BEs in Portland as we had Sprites total in Bellevue. I think you can register the day of the show, if ya need to.
