It appears the sporting life of Amos, the fun to
drive and mostly reliable 1969 TR6 has come to an
end after 1400 miles driven.

DPO Pedro wins this round and the Crypt Car is back into
his comfortable jackstands life. Broke down/dead. The Mrs
says no more $$ dropped into a hopless cause.

Dang it all!!

Boats broke but can be fixed
Wrangler crashed but can be fixed

The Mrs girly Jeep Liberty our only mode of
transportation.

Oh no! a sequal! Tales of the Crypty II.
What's up Dale? it can't be as bad as it was before.

methinks there is more to life than Fixing Flakey Fuel Feeds!

So get that "friend" of yours to ante up for the repairs he owes you after mangling your boat.

And with the Wrangler suffering from mattress withdrawal syndrome , how 'bout gettin' off the dang computer and goin' on a nice long morning walk with the Mrs. - and then maybe a nice long evening walk with the Mrs.

Just make sure it's your own Mrs.

I've met the Mrs.

There is no other for Dale!

Hi There Tinster,

Well Sir; I just can`t believe I`m reading this post!

I suspect you can`t believe you`ve written this post!

After all that has been done to that car; What the heck else can go wrong?

Hey Dale; Did you perhaps just run out of gas?

"NOT THAT LUCKY"!!!!

I suspect it can`t be anything serious. Maybe a feul pump, vapor lock, perhaps an "In-Line" feul filter installation or replacement, "Bad Coils" always seem to cause mischief and your car just won`t run; Poor ground wire connection???

Good Luck Tinster,

Russ

This surely still isn't the rust in the tank issue.
Replace the filters and drive it.

Dale,

What happened now that it's on jack stands? It doesn't need to be there to change the fuel filters and you have the new pump. I think that even your old pump was OK, wasn't it?

Dale. Forgive me for not being computer savey. Go to page 23 of this forum and look at "Moisture in fuel tank" I think this should solve your problems. About 3-28-08...
