Looks like we are similar paths with similar Sprites (although mine is US market). Coincidentally, I work in IT as well (private sector) - we had our own C19 challenges, but my biggest stressor over the past 2 years was a 4-into-1 datacenter consolidation project. I made it out the other side of that project, got my health issues squared away, bought a lift and I'm finally on my way toward restoration. I'm also using my thread to hold myself accountable. It's been a number of years since I really dug into a restore. I find I'm enjoying this one very much, having the tools and the experience from previous LBC work that I lacked when I did the work on my Spitfire.
Love this thread - it's like a sneak-preview for my own Bugeye. :smile:
 
Congrats on making it to the other side! I'm still working on it. I feel you on the datacenter move, we did one (likely smaller scale) last year and it was a stressful time.

I struggle a bit with motivation due to some work-related burnout, but it is nice to have space, a lift, tools, and a bit of experience this time around. Now it just needs to get a bit warmer so I can spend some serious time out in the shop.

I totally get the burnout feeling. I usually spend a few hours nibbling away over the weekend. I find I need to create a small list of things to get done on the car. If I have a list, I can whittle away at it. If I just walk out there with no plan, I find myself wandering aimlessly. My shop is the lower level of an old barn with 18" thick walls. I installed a mini-split last year and it does a great job keeping it comfortable year round.
