Just looking at A-40 posts and noted yours.....you were looking for "someone familiar with these cars"......how is that going? I have a 54 that I am working on currently........a long term project!

I am currently doing a cosmetic restoration on my '53. Here's the last pic I took before paint: Phonepics 215.jpgI am still looking for a dome light lens and the stainless strip that goes below the rear window, or one of the door trims so I can repair the one I have by welding a bit to it. I have been very lucky so far as this car was brought to Southern California in the 1970's, and hasn't suffered too badly from rust over the last 40 years or so. Here's a pic from whence I started:Windows Photo Gallery Wallpaper.jpg

Thanks, John-Peter. I really appreciate your help with some of the details! She won 3rd place in "Other Marques" at the 2019 San Diego British Car Day!

I have a Somerset. Exact year unknown. Its more of a solid shell than a full car with no interior. I am hoping to fit MG B suspension front and rear. I have the front on hand but yet to adapt it.
