There was a 10.5mm ∱2.8 "fisheye" DX listed on eBay that clocked out with NO bids, $125. Crappy photos of it, 0% feedback for the seller. Smelled "funny" to me.

Maybe the seller will make me an offer. Stupid thing sells new for nearly $300. A novelty optic for sure.

I once did a TDY job to one of the last BOMARC missile sites as the system was being decommissioned, on a lark I made a shot with an auxiliary, screw-on Accura "fisheye" expecting the shot to be junk. For some reason it was used in Airman Magazine over all the other images submitted.

Too bad they don't have a "Make Offer" option. I'd still be very leery of buying something from someone with 0 feedback. It could be just fine, but it could be not so fine, you just never know these days.

Big pass. "Seller does not accept returns"

That was pretty much what cinched my conclusion to sit back and watch. Apparently others got the same vibe. I re-entered it on my "watch list" primarily to see if anyone bids this go-round.

If I really-REALLY wanted one, another $50 more-or-less and they're available from reputable dealers, with plenty of recourse and no shipping fee.
