replacing engine

All things are possible, some just harder than others.

It may be a little less drama to try a honda v-tec. After Hondas acquisition of Rover group, they adapted the A and K series engines and based their vtec on such.

A lot of Rover owners (and a few late model MG) in the Uk are replacing their engines with Honda.
Be careful if persuing this route, some Rover 200 and 400 series ie the Honda Ballade and Concerto (vtecs) were powered with Peugeot engines, Very good in reverse I hear. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
I'm aware of CRX and Del Sol (1.8 dohc) fitting nicely.
