Replacement Gas Tanks? Jorge Cervera?

Does anyone have any experience with the replacement tanks both for the 100 & the 3000/100/6 being sold on EBAY by Jorge Cervera?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have one and it is just fine. The dimensions are correct and the fuel line connection is correct too. The only difference from stock that I can tell is the indentations on the vertical side panel run lengthwise instead of up and down. When the trunk liner is in you never see it.
 
We use all of his tanks at our shop. I have an alloy in my BN4.

I think that not all tanks were the same design! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif

In the early cars, and that applies to your early LongbridgeBN4, the fuel pipe makes a 90 degree angle after it comes through the rear bulk head. It sits in a recess in the tank. In the later cars the tanks had an elbow joint welded to them, (probably seen as offering greater protection in the exposed boot area) With these the fuel pipe comes straight through and into the elbow fitting on the tank. I also think that means that the hole in the bulkhead might not be in the right place if you use a later tank. Dont know about Jorge Cervera but this happened to me with an aluminium tank I got from SC Parts. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
 
Derek - Thanks for the heads up!!! There is always something different about these Longbridge 2porthead 100-SIXs. I actually am not buying the 100-SIX tank this Christmas. That will be next year. I am replacing the tank on my BN1. I will tell all how it fits, hopefully before the first of the year.

my problems were that one of the straps was bent after removal, made fitting all that harder what with new foam under tank and new plastic under straps, is a real pain with the small amount of thread available to lock down with!
