Repair Shops in DC? [1st Time Post]

I'm preparing to rebuild the seats and replace the dash, carpet, and interior panels in my '74 TR-6. I don't have time to do it all myself.

Can anyone recommend a good shop in the Washington DC Metro area?

Thanks.

Welcome to the BCF! I moved down from the DC area a couple of years ago. On the Virgina side I'd reccommend Motorhead Ltd. Motorhead in Fairfax.
On the Maryland side Mountjoy's Auto Mountjoy's in Hyattsville.

If Fredericksburg, VA is close Classic British Sports Cars is an excellent choice. Garland Gentry is very knowledgeable and capable in all aspects of repair and restoration. He charges $60 per hour plus parts so he's not cheap but the work is done right the first time. 1-888-370-4474classic british sports cars

The first thing you may consider is to join one of your local British Car Clubs. Check these websites for repair shops also.

Here are a couple to consider:

https://www.mgcarclubdc.com/

https://www.capitaltriumphregister.com/

You'll find tons of helpful, knowledgeable folks who've been over every nut and bolt on practically any British car you can name in these clubs. I couldn't survive my GT6 without my club contacts.

Good luck, please keep us posted on your restoration progress.
