Rental car in Orlando

We are in Orlando for a few days and the package we bought included a van rental. Get to the pick up and you just choose one to get in. SWMBO picked a red one (good choice btw if you have ever tried to find your grey or white car in the Disney parking lot) anyways, turns out to be brand new! 12 miles on the odometer as we pull out. Chrysler Grand Caravan - leather, back up camera, electric doors, rear hatch, all the bells and whistles. I am neither a minivan guy nor a Chrysler guy, but, I have to say it is a pretty impressive piece of kit and I could imagine, for its purpose a nice vehicle for a long trip. I am also impressed with the level of extras for a rental - in Canada, some times they are so basic they don't have engines - just pedals.

I'm a bit mini-van fan.

There.....I said it!

I think they're great and impressively useful.

I had a Ford Freestar mini-van I bought new in '04. I traded it in in '09 because of a great deal I got on a cargo van. But if that deal hadn't come along, I'd still be towing my race car with that mini-van.

I have rented Chrysler cariall vans a couple of times on long jaunts.
5 people,3 adults, on a few thousand mile trip .Fairly comfortable

When my wife's car was involved in an accident the rental car place only had two vehicles on the lot: A Chrysler minivan and a Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible. I went with the convertible. My daughter liked it so much that I began looking for convertibles, ultimately finding the Sprite and then finding this website.

We're headed to Florida in a couple of weeks and, yes, I am going to rent a convertible when we get there. Between this crazy winter and having the Sprite off the road for the head gasket replacement, I'm long overdue for a convertible fix.
