At a meeting of our Mini club, a member had a Renault for sale. The price was right- $150. I've seen photos, looks complete. Any one know of a renault club or organization of Renault owners?

T.T.

which style ?

4CV that kind of looks like a 4 door VW bug ,
or a Daulpine ?

The only thing I imagine would exist would be (perhaps) a national club for either French cars or Renault's specifically... But one group I would recomend is the Arcane Automotive Society, they are based geographically out of the San Francisco area but they have an active presence via Yahoogroups across North America, and their specialty is anything "arcane", and they seem to have lots of general knowledge of all sorts of oddball vehicles...

Just websearch "Arcane Automotive Society" and you should be able to find them easily.

Thanks! It is the Dauphine model. I know of the arcane group, I bought my Auto Union/DKW through one of the members. I figure I'll minimum bodywork- enought to make it safe and get the egine to run and drive it around town for a while. I'm not sure I want to get started doing a complete resoration. T.T.

You have a DKW and a Renault! You have just officially become my hero! My dad had a '58 - what is yours? (At the same time I had a DS19 wagon - we had the two oddest cars in town.
