I've driven them.
Surprisingly docile vehicle.
Seemed very forgiving when thrown into corners....
 
Cartalk described them as "truly unencumbered by the engineering process." Not sure why, but it is pretty high on my "one day" list. Just looks like fun.
 
They were what they were, back in the day. I remember riding in one that belonged to a friend in my high school. Not really that bad, other than only having three forward speeds (if I remember correctly). All in all, about on a par with everything else like it: VW Beetle, early Triumph Herald, Mini 850, etc., etc.!

What I really wouldn't mind having is a
