Removing int door handles/winders

As I wind down the window on the passenger side of my '73 TR6 it rocks around and drops rather precipitately, I suspect the support/guiding mechanism inside the door has fell apart or disappeared.
How do you remove the interior door handles/winders so that I can get the inside panel off and have a look.
Most cars have some kind of circlip on the handle that is reached by pushing the door panel in and using something thin (screwdriver'ish) to get in there and release it.
Anyone done this and can guide me here before I break something? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

Graham, grab a small punch, or nail, push in the window or door black plastic surround, turn each until you see a hole, there is a pin that runs through a square metal peice that runs up into your handle. Knock the pin out with the punch, pull the punch out and it comes right off. You may have to push real hard on the plastic. Wayne

Thanks Wayne, that worked a treat.
The horizontal metal piece that rides on rollers that the glass sits in was loose at the bottom of the door.
I think if I re-engage it on the rollers, and put some rubber type glue on the rubber piece at the bottom of the glass then it will all stay together properly.
Appreciate the help, thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif
