TR6 Removal of TR6 crankshaft end bolt! MANY THANKS!

Thanks for your help everyone. While I've been wrenching for over 30 yrs I never considered upgrading to an impact wrench. Lordy be, the TR crank bolt just spun off - right now - with a simple $29 1/2 drive from Harbor Freight. I've had compressors for years...why didn't I get an impact wrench sooner.

Thanks again - the beauty of the internet and these forums.

HF also has a 3/8 "palm impact" that I use and like a lot. It's small enough to get into those 'tight' places. Not enough power to get that crank bolt loose, but it will twist the head off a 3/8 bolt.

Ask me how I know........on second thought, don't ask.

Jim, you're a brute. :jester:
