TR6 Reliable repair shop !!!!!

British sports car center, Gormley Ot, from the web. I don't know how they are.
Don't seem to be a lot of shops in the area.

Trevor White owns the British Sportscar Centre. He is a good mechanic but be prepared to leave your car for a very long time...

You could try these....

Dougs Auto Clinic, Milton
R&B Automotive, Oakville
J D Auto Service, Etobicoke

Cheers
Tush

I contacted Ken mason out in Orangeville several times,,,,,but doesn't seem to be interested in doing the rebuild,,,,so it's time to find another shop. Peninsula imports in Oakville gave me the run around also,,,
thanks guys for the names and f the shops,,I'll see what they say.....

The guys above exhausted my local knowledge. My uncle worked on TRs in the 60s/70s and said Redshaw Auto was top notch - problem being they're in Ottawa, but might be worth a drive/tow.

The TR 6 cyl is a relatively simple engine, unless you are looking at high performance, any good mechanic should be able to rebuild it for you. I would suggest having the internals, flywheel and clutch balanced.

I guess another possible action might be to pull the engine yourself and ship it to someone in the states.
Macy's garage comes to mind.
