I think we have all heard the line about why the British beer is warm..... Lucas wiring! Well... my refrigerator water dispenser went out and I have been trying to fix it with out very much luck. I'm a decent repair guy for most things around the house but the plastic dispenser mechanism has been a buggar! There aren't any instruction manuals around to reference, every model has a specific part that is never in stock and can not be returned if purchased on "special order", it has been a flipping nightmare! I made 4 trips to the appliance part store and replaced just about everything I can think of and it is still not working.... I would rather be fiddling with my LBC any day! The service tech is coming on Thursday, I got an appliance warranty for less than the cost of replacing two major parts! Thank goodness bottled water was on sale at the market this week! I was wondering are there any warranty plans on LBC? Oh never mind!:playful::p

This topic probably belongs in "the pub" - but I get appliance parts from partselect.com. They have a pretty good website, and exploded views of various (major brand) appliances.

No financial interest; I can't say if they are the cheapest, the best, etc. It is a site where I have ordered parts quickly and accurately, and I get back to working on my LBC. Or I get back to working on the honey-do list...
