Reflector replacement?

My ol' Mercedes has two stock reflectors on the rear fenders. They're original Ulonite 105, about 2" high and 1" wide; here's an example of what they looked like when new:

The 105s are no longer made, and the "replacement" Ulonite 135 won't fit the space. Mine are sadly weathered, face cracked and dull, etc. (Hmmm, sadly weathered, face cracked, dull - sounds like me.)

Is there some adhesive type reflector material I can put over the bad faces? something that looks like the original "jeweled" or "honeycomb" plastic reflectors? The "reflector tape" I've seen at NAPA just looks like a shiny red aluminum strip.

Thanks.

Try bicycle reflectors or helmet tape. Either way a bicycle or even motorcycle shop

Thanks JP. I'm heading to a bicycle shop this afternoon.

Maybe you can find one that is larger, and cut it down...

Just a thought.
