Refinishing the Chasis ...

I was thinking about totally stripping every part under the car and refinishing it. All this while leaving the car intact. I figure it will take a lot of taping and patience, but I was curious if anyone has tried this already and had any tips.

pizzi348, might be time to start pricing out an engine hoist and stand, trans stand, and building a loft inna garage to store the interior and other parts, alot of these "im only gunna do" type jobs go that way, "restraint" is the key here, dont ask me how i know,

Yes and if I understand your post it is referred to as a rolling restoration. Here the car is restored but never totally disassembled and for the most part remains on the road. Course now it will seem like you be working for ever and going back in places you just came outah---Keoke-
