Moss and DW sells a Heavy Duty Cylinder Head Stud.

Description:
These heavy-duty Austin Healey cylinder head studs are made from high specification steel, which is treated to minimise the likelihood of them elongating and causing problems with leaking head gaskets.
The reduced shank helps absorb and compensate for mechanical and thermal influences without loss of torque!
Pre-production heat and surface treatment are used to avoid the distortions found in longer waisted studs.
WAISTED-COMPETITION

What is your take on reduced shank design?
Would these be comparable, better, or not as good as ARP brand?
