Does anyone know if they make a "redi-sleeve" (I think that's what its called. For a Spitfire 1500 crank?

Go to a a bearing house with the crank diameter and length of surface and chances are they will come up with one. They're pretty generic.

That said, I just looked in the Moss cat. P/N 520-510, "SPEEDI-SLEEVE, timing cover seal, 1500"

I just read your other posts and realize you are probably talking about the rear c/shaft seal surface. In that case my first response applies.

Basil, I don't have the speedi-sleeve part # but the Moss # would be 520-530. It should be the same for a Midget 1500, Spitfire 1500 and the TR250/6. It will be cheaper to go the the local bearing shop though.

I think the speedi-sleeve part # is 99887. The rear seal should be a National 143456 / SKF 28655. The recommended sleeve for a 28655 is the 99887 which is for a 2.875" shaft.
