Red radiator schroud

Were all the schrouds painted red from the factory? I have seen several examples on Ebay that looked original that but were black. Also were all the fans yellow?

You are correct on both; red hand painted shroud and yellow fan.

Probably no one cares, but, BN1's & BN2's had red fans & black shrouds. Glad mine doesn't have the awful yellow fan. Pink would be just as visible.

100-6 and early 3000's had red fans and shroud.
