On my bike ride home today I was riding up the right turn lane and noticed a suspiciously LBC looking profile in the left turn lane. Just got enough of a glimpse of the front of the car to see the recessed grill to identify it as a MkII. Top was down but didn't have time to even wave to the driver.

Ah. Recessed grille. Often not a good identifier.

There was a time MK1 grilles were NLA.....so folks bought MK2 grilles and installed them.
Probably half dozen so equipped at the ABFM. I asked. They said. Don't shoot the messenger.

Still doesn't subtract from seeing one of those things on the open range.
