RED FAN GUARD

Hey Gang,
can anyone tell me what type of paint to use on the fan guard on my 65 3000 ? Thanks for your help.

I just did this one (1) in PPG Deltron (BMW ///M Coupe Imola Red) because it was what I had laying around!

Anything that looks bright red and put it on with a brush like the factory did.
 
I conconcur...it is china red..I belive there was a corresponding "Krylon" color that we all used back in the 80's that we brushed on. Had a little orangish hue to it.

Used Ford red on my BN1 Fan - seemed like a good match for the read on most healeys....
 
Rustoleum Apple Red was the color I used on the fan guard. It's a nice bright red. I used the spray can. Didn't know the original paint was brushed on. Anyway the Apple Red looks great, got a touch of orange in it, no blue.
