I was talking with the owner of a body shop that specializes in building hot rods and custom cars. He's the one who painted my car. I asked him about having parts chromed. He said the most important thing in the chroming process is to pay extra and have the part copper plated first then chromed. Some places supposedly do this automaticly. ?? PJ

Hi Paul, YES all good chrome shops will use a three step process; Copper, Nickle and Chrome, Regardless of whether it is Street level plating or Show level, anything less is going to fail.--Keoke
