Kelly got me a hand crank radio which I love. She got it free from somewhere so it wasn't the best made unit. My hand crank broke off durring Isaac so I need a replacement.
I want a GOOD one! I'm not really that concerned about price. $200 would be my max though unless it's the baddest one on the planet.
What I'd like is hand crank, possibly solar too, WELL made, (metal case wold be nice), built in light, prefer water proof and not digital.
I'd like something strong enough that you could clock someone in the head w/ it and it still work. While I have absolutly no intentions to clock someone in the head with it, that seems to be a good measure of quality. (yeah, I know; can't clock someone's nugget with a solar cell and expect it to live.)
Remember that old rotary phone you once had on the night stand, the one that could have doubled as a weapon? That's the kinda quality I'm after; simple, dependable, well made and weapons grade. :hammer: :wink: :laugh:
