Rebuilding SU carbs

Hi:
Getting ready to rebuild mine for a TR-3A 60000+ plus commision number car. Have some manuals. Any suggestions on where I should look for a definitive guide for the rebuild?
Thanks, Tinkerman

Haynes have a book for rebuilding SU carbs. I'm doing that right now for the 1960 late TR3A that I've been restoring over the last 7 years. See attachment.

Tinkerman,

Here's a link to a couple of pages of information that may be useful:

I rebuilt my SUs the winter before last. It's really a quite simple process. The only work I didn't do myself was having the throttle shafts bushed.

The carburetor rebuild made a huge difference in the way the car runs.

Hey, Tinkerman -

Since you're near, why not check with the Nashville British Car Club? Several of us (myself included) have traveled that path before, and it would make for a good tech session. Let me know if you're interested.

Mickey; I have a Restoration that we could use for a 6 month tech session! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif I'm on my way!
