Rebuilding Front Seats

I'm planning to rebuild the front seats on my '62 BJ7 because the upholstery kit installed 25+ years ago was done incorrectly using glue and screws, etc. I want to use as much of the "as original" hardware and materials (e.g., clips and fabric) as possible - unless there's a better way.

If someone could provide 2 or 3 bottom-view pics of both the front seat back and bottom to help determine clip / fastener locations and the number of clips used to install the fabric to the seat. I will be replacing with a UK-sourced leather seat kit. Much thanks, Gonzo

Gonzo, I had to rebuild the steel pans on my BJ7 and replaced the foam cushions with new and then refit the covers, I do have piccys but the covers were hand made and I just placed the clips where I thought they should be, I have found a piccy of another seat

A treasure trove of general and some model specific information can be found on Geoff Chrysler’s website. Geoff does things correctly as they were back in the day and he is a perfectionist. He also has a youtube channel. Even if you do not find specifics on your Healey I am sure you will learn a lot from these sources.
