1964 MGB,
Very rustfree pull handle car.
So I understand my options are limited. Whereas I did the Rivergate 5 speed in my Midget before changing my mind and going motor swap, I do not see and 5 speed conversions for the early car like mine. Am I correct in gleening that this is because of the smaller transmission tunnel?
And if I buy this other 3 synchro box from a yard nearby here to go through it first,,,, how much is it really going to cost if I make everything pretty near perfect inside?
Doing the work myself so, just parts expense and knuckle skin.
Can the 280Z 5 speed kit work in the early car without bashing heck out of the inside of the tunnel for clearance?
