This is one of the Girling adjusters that I SHOULD HAVE left on my car when I rebuilt the entire brake and suspension system last fall.
I'll clean these up really well ad replace the units that one decided to cough up its studs on. BTW, these studs are in really tight. They're not going anywhere.
The parts have maybe 5,000-6,000 miles on them.
After the last thread that I ran about the studs falling out, I thought that I should show those who have never seen one apart what they look like. Quite simple, actually.
The center piston has a shaped triangular head with radius blended flat spots that allow the two side pistons to smoothly move on or out, depending on the rotation of the center piston, either in or out.
I'll also post pics after clean up and reassembly before installation.
