i have a 3000 bj8 the rear height is very high springs from moss i know this has been discussed many times but is there a way to lower the rear and doeas anyone manufacture softer springs
 
The best way is too just wait awhhile, as they will sink down on their own.

However, if you saved your old springs you can try replacing the second leaf from the top of your new springs with the one from your old ones.--Fwiw--Keoke
 
A rearend shop will roll out(height) what you dont want. I had a 1.5 rolled out. took like half a day cost 180( i think).

Well take the first lower leaf out of these springs [Keep It :laugh: ] and see how she sits if it sags later on put it back in and you should be OK---Keoke
 
The cheapest and easiest way to lower the rear is to use some lowering blocks. You may have to buy some longer U bolts if you use thick blocks but they are not expensive (maybe $20 for 4).
 
I believe Martin Jansen/Jule has rear springs designed to match or improve upon the ride height of the 3000 MKIII. I have no personal experience on this, but others have posted about it.

I too would like to know more about the lowering blocks.

Martin does have the springs. I purchased mine in 2009 for $250. No shipping charges because they came back with my Frame. He can make them for any height you want.
