Rear Shroud Repair

We have a BN1 and require a rear shroud aluminium repair piece for the lower left hand side. A piece aprox 500mm x 100mm would suffice.
Any ideas where I could source one?
Anyone have one surplus to requirements?

Here's hoping,

Hi Tony

Try metals4U on the web, not sure what thickness you are wanting but they offer 2mm at 1M x 1M for ÂŁ37.60 plus PP. They do have other thicknesses as well of course.

You will have plenty spare for those other areas that you have not found yet.!

Otherwise hunt around your local area for an Aluminium sheet metal worker and knock on his door.

Just looked at Ebay UK plenty there near the size that you are after and cheaper to boot.

If you're looking for one that's pre-formed try the usual UK Healey suppliers (AH Spares, A Head 4 Healeys, Cape, SC Parts, etc.) - they all have on-line catalogs.

You might also try contacting some of the Healey restoration companies and see if they have a damaged and otherwise unuseable shroud they'd carve your needed piece out of- for a price....

Frankenhealey on this forum can connect you with Pete Farmer out in Salisbury , Wiltshire, or contact Pete directly = https://www.petefarmer.com/.

Pete has built or rebuilt many Healeys including a couple of 100S cars.

He can do the repair for you or perhaps get you the necessary parts/panels for your use.
