TR2/3/3A Rear seat tr3a

Can any one provide a picture of a rear seat for tr3a. Mt PO (dad) has evidently built a seat not sure why if it had one originally or not. It works but I'm long legged and need a little more room. I considered cutting down the wood seat, but I'm not sure and would like to see the real thing.

You might mention your commission number as I believe the seats changed over time. I'll go get a photo of TS47905L.

Yes, the rear seat does limit the rearward travel of the driver's seat. Also limited by the tracks but those can be moved if need be.

The 'seat' is more or less useless as a seat, handy as a shelf perhaps and for out-of-sight stowage beneath it, that's about all.

Eric: The rear (occasional) seat changed with the other major tooling changes at TS60000. Your 3A, TS53854L, would have been built in July or August 1959 and have rear a seat should look like mine, below.

Thanks for the pics. I removed the fashioned seat and leg room is much better. funny how TRF wants 6 bills for it. Maybe I should start making them. I think that since it was a option that I will go without. Although as a small child I road on it many times, sideways of course.
