Finally have my rear license plate light installed. Does the cover go over the gasket lip or inside it? It does not seem to fit well either way. Thanks,

Kevin, Inside the lip if the early one on the bumper. They sure are proud of those gaskets, got a few from Rimmers' years ago when they had a sale. Be sure to put the grommet on the panel in the car, water gets in there quickly.
