I need to go to parts store for new bulb for the rear plate light.I am pretty sure they can match it up but I would like to know the number so I can call before I go.
Thanks
Tom

Do you have the chrome fixture, or the red plastic one? The chrome fixture takes two bulbs, originally Lucas 222, replaced by Lucas LLB233. They won't have that but #57 should work fine.

Thanks Randall for fast reply.I have Lucas 467/2 chrome fixture. It has one bulb socket. The number I think would denote its a 2 bulb fixture but it doesn't appear modified.1959 TR3.
I don't know what the red plastic one is.Off to the store for #57 or what matches.
Thanks
Tom

Earlier TR3 (like mine) used a combination brake and license lamp, with a red plastic lens.

You're right about the single bulb, I must've mis-remembered, or maybe my old 3A had the wrong fixture on it. Still a 222, tho.
