Rear hubs colour

What was the original colour of the rear hubs for a BJ8? I am assuming it was a silver colour to match with the wheels?

I assume you mean brake drums because the hubs/splines can't be seen with the wheel on? If so, they were painted silver.
I painted mine black so that the spokes in the wheels stand out better.
 
Yes, sorry, you are correct. I did mean brake drums.
I will get busy with the silver paint but I do like the idea of painting them black.

If you like the idea of black then do it black. It's your car and this is easily changeable later.
