REAR DRUM BRAKES

I am lead to believe that there are different configs. of rear drum brakes for Bugeyes. True or False? If there are differences, how can I tell the difference? Does it make any difference? Are the backing plates different? About to order parts and immediatly became confussed.

Paul, Bugeye rear brakes should all be the same. Changes came with later model Sprites. My copy of the Service Parts book shows no changes for the rear brakes.
