Rear damper rebuild

I am sure this has been posted before, but I have not been able to find it.

Is there a source to get rebuild kits for rear dampers? I have sprung a leak.

Thanks

Thanks Tony

I would like to get them rebuilt since they are adjustable and I believe relatively rare.

Also, Tony some time ago you had a post about ceramic coated headers. Did you ever get those in stock?

Thanks

NBo, I wanted to do a bulk buy but not enough interest.

AS in factory comp dept. adjustable shop, got the alminum adjustment knob on them, yes they are rare, but Peter can still rebuild them for you, the adjustment knob just limits the amount of fluid allowed to travel from one cylinder to the other. Peter even makes his own adjustable lever shock these day, his adjustment, limiting device is extranl of the shock, hoses and a valve, but it dones the same thing, but you get the one you have rebuilt, there are rare and valuable, but peter can do that job in his sleep.

& he'll do youtrs & send yours back to you.

They do have the aluminum adjustment knob on them. I thought they came from Huffaker Engineering from way back.

Peter has asked for a picture to confirm but he figures he should be able to do them. It will probably take awhile to go back and forth so I think it will be a winter project. Don't want to have the car off the road for long in the summer.

Thanks

Good to hear you & Peter are communicating....he's a good man & honest vendor.
