Greetings Jag Gurus

I am in need to replace my whole brake system on my jag. My brake components have been lost.(long story)

To get my car back on the road, I have looked at getting these components.

LOCKHEED BRAKE BOOSTER(aftermarket) $299.95
WILWOOD FRONT CALIPER KIT (aftermarket) $539.95

I am looking for:

Master cylinder
Rear Calipers
Steel braided lines?

I need help and reccomendations on where i can get the need parts.

Has anybody have any experience with these aftermarket components.

I checked with XKS.com, and they said that the aftermarket parts dont need and special assembly and fit as if there originals with out any retrofitting

please help me

Hello Ed,
As the rear calipers also have the handbake calipers attached, I don't think that you will get a suitable alternative. There are a few companies here in the UK that sell second hand spares for the MK2. If you have no luck where you are let me know and I'll dig out some address's for you. My E-Mail is maa970f@madasafish.com

as for replacing your brake parts, you could go aftermarket. if you want to save some cash and get used you could source them in the UK.
that would be your best bet. as for aftermarket
wilwood seems to be the best. if you have a barnes
and noble bookstore near you pick up a copy of
jaguar world magazine. excellent mag from the UK
with lots of info and vender advertising.
